The Final Step Toward Home

Reaching this stage means you are on the cusp of celebrating a new beginning—yet a few final details deserve your attention before the process is complete.

Final Walk-Through Inspection

Typically conducted the day before or the day of closing, the walk-through is your opportunity to confirm that the residence remains in the same condition as when you last visited. You will verify that all systems are functioning properly, agreed-upon items are in place, and that no unexpected belongings have been left behind. While largely a formality, this step ensures peace of mind as you prepare to take ownership.

Home Services & Utilities

To ease your transition, we will provide a curated list of essential contacts for activating utilities and home services immediately after closing. Our goal is to make your first days in your new home seamless and effortless.

Be Prepared

Should an unexpected detail arise—even at this final hour—we are here to support you. Whether it’s a last-minute repair or a minor logistical concern, our experience allows us to navigate these situations swiftly and without stress, ensuring you remain fully supported through the conclusion of your purchase.

Closing

During the closing, the settlement agent will present a comprehensive settlement statement detailing every financial aspect of the transaction. You and the seller will review and sign this document, affirming its accuracy.

If financing is involved, you will also execute all required lender documentation.

For clients unable to attend in person, alternative signing arrangements can often be accommodated with appropriate notice. Funds for closing may be wired directly to the escrow account or delivered via certified bank check in the amount reflected on the settlement statement.

At the conclusion of the closing, the seller will provide all keys and any essential property information so you may begin your new chapter with confidence and clarity.
